Guest Information
We’re so excited to welcome you to a place filled with slow mornings, generous landscapes, and the kind of beauty that invites you to linger.
Below, you’ll find everything you need to make the most of this unforgettable week.
-
Our welcome event will take place on the Mirage Catamaran in Cape Town and will last approximately 2 hours.
Please note that no food will be served on board, so we recommend eating beforehand or planning accordingly.
If you are prone to seasickness, we recommend taking appropriate precautions in advance (such as motion sickness tablets or bands), as conditions can vary on the water.
We promise it will be worth it for the views alone!
-
Following the catamaran, we have a reservation at Marble, which is just a short 2-minute walk from the harbour.
We’ll head there together after docking to enjoy a drink overlooking the waterfront before sitting down for dinner.
Marble is known for its open-fire cooking style, offering a relaxed but elevated dining experience.
We’d love for you to join us for the full evening if you can.
-
Transportation will be organised for all guests staying in Wellington, with transfers to and from the wedding venue at Kruijd.
Final timings and pick-up details will be shared closer to the date, but everything will be taken care of so you can relax and fully enjoy the day.
-
The dress code is Summer Formal.
Think elevated, elegant, and seasonally appropriate:
Light fabrics and breathable materials
Earthy tones or blush and pastel colours are encouraged
Suits, shirts, and summer tailoring
Dresses below the knee
Please also keep in mind that Kruijd is a natural, outdoor setting with uneven terrain (gravel, grass, and pathways), so we recommend:
Block heels, wedges, or flats
Shoes you feel comfortable walking and standing in
Very high heels are not advised.
-
The ceremony will begin in the late afternoon.
This timing has been chosen intentionally to avoid the peak heat of the day and to allow for a more comfortable, relaxed atmosphere as the day transitions into the evening.
We’ll share exact timings closer to the wedding, but please plan accordingly and enjoy a slower morning before the celebrations begin.
-
For those staying on in Franschhoek, we’re so excited to unwind and spend a bit more time together after the wedding.
We’ll be meeting late afternoon [23.02.26] at TukTuk Brewery for a relaxed “hair of the dog”, great food, and a post-wedding chill.
We’ll share more details in the WhatsApp group closer to the time - no pressure, just come along if you’re around!
-
